- ------------------------------------
-
- * GMega / K11 Percussn
- - load a GMega / K11 Drum Note
- * GMega / K11 Percussn Bank
- - load all 128 Drum Note setups
-
- * Use the Pch# in the Percussn driver
- to choose the Percussn to load. The
- range is 0 -> 127
-
- * The Percussn Bank is a display of
- all drum settings. When editing the
- a single percussion element from
- the bank, the editing will be
- performed on the element selected
- by the Pch# of the Percussn driver
-
- * Due to the design of the instrument
- it is impossible to provide audit-
- ioning of percussion sounds from
- the Percussion Bank
-
- * While editing a percussion sound it
- is necessary to set the instrument
- appropriately to hear the changes
- you are making:
- 1) Choose a Drum Kit which has the
- selected percussion sound in it
- 2) Use the Midi Controller Window
- to play the note of the sound you
- are editing.
-
- * Before loading data from the
- instrument BANK SEL must be
- set to USER
- - Press the SYSTEM button
- - Move to SNGL BANK SEL
- - Set the bank to USER
-
- * Under the SYSTEM button, also
- ensure that the following are
- set:
- UNIT RCV EXCL = ON
- UNIT CH = Driver Comm Ch
- (set the Comm Ch to UNIT CH)
-
- * SysX is only transmitted through
- MIDI port A.
-
- * Note: System Exclusive communi-
- cation with GMega and K11
- instruments is exceptionally slow.
- Unfortunately, this is how the
- instruments were designed by Kawai
- and you will simply have to be
- patient.
